UAE Residents (Non-UAE Passport Holders): If you are living in the UAE but hold a non-UAE passport (e.g., Indian, Pakistani, Filipino, etc.), you must apply for a Schengen visa to visit the Czech Republic.

General Requirements (Schengen Visa – Short Stay, Type C)

If you need a visa (non-UAE passport holders), you will typically need to prepare:

✅ Valid passport — valid for at least 3 months beyond your intended departure date, issued within the last 10 years, with 2 blank pages.

✅ Schengen visa application form — completed and signed.

✅ Passport-size photos — recent, compliant with ICAO standards.

✅ Visa fee payment as required.

✅ Flight itinerary — round-trip ticket or reservation.

✅ Proof of accommodation — hotel bookings or invitation details.

✅ Travel medical insurance — covering the entire Schengen area with minimum €30,000 coverage.

✅ Purpose of travel documents — invitation letters (if visiting family/business), itinerary for tourism, etc.

✅ UAE residence visa copy — valid at least 3 months beyond intended stay (for visa applicants living in the UAE).

Where to Apply

Applications for Czech Republic Schengen visas from the UAE are usually submitted at the Czech Visa Application Centres (VFS Global) in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

You must appear in person for biometric enrolment (fingerprints & photo).

Processing & Timing

Schengen visa processing typically takes up to 15 calendar days, and in some cases up to 30 days depending on individual circumstances and documentation.
